Welcome to SI (Serviço de Informática) homepage, the Information Technology Support of the ITQB/UNL research institute.
To connect your personal PC to ITQB´s network it is necessary to request the PC registration using the Helpdesk system. After the request is received our collaborators will perform a technical checkup of the computer and make the necessary configurations.
All computers must have installed an updated anti-virus program (you may use ITQB´s institutional anti-virus license ).
It is recommended to establish backup procedures that assure the protection and the safe storage of information (see Backups ) and it is also recommended to update your Operating System (OS) often.
ITQB users can have their own personal page and documents available on the internal and external network ( Personal Web pages ).
